Experience Langley, a true tale

There once was a tiny town of business owners who lived on a beautiful island, that wanted to welcome more visitors and local islanders into their shops and restaurants so they could make a living all year round. So on a bitter cold night in January, the merchants gathered and debated. The early birds told the old timers to open up their shops earlier so the visitors would have something to visit early in the morning. The old timers stomped and scowled and one walked out!  The conference holder declared the town was going to tank if the people didn't soon learn the new way of marketing socially.  A young woman, declared she was losing her peers to the fast life of the city and maybe she would soon follow but for her love of the town and it's people.  Then magic took hold. And fun experiences began being offered by innovative merchants. A mask and puppet workshop came to life, a glass blowing studio offered to show people how;  a couples massage room opened in a bamboo garden next to the sea.  Even a training program for their brains was offered so they could think faster and more efficiently.

Just yesterday,  the conference holder held a big event and the brightest transparent minds in the nation came for an edgy social media conference. People came, connected and tweeted; creating memories together that gave them joy. The merchants were in awe with what could be done for their town. people are coming we're happy again.
